New Young Pony Club - Carling stage
Surely it’s too hot to dance?With the sun absolutely hammering down it appears that any wannabe ravers are only heading the way of sunstroke, rather than reaching for the stars.
Fortunately then the 2pm set from London’s New Young Pony Club is in the undercover refuge of the Radio 1 Tent, leaving sunstroke to the make up coated metallers!
Having toured non – stop since debut “Fantastic Playroom” came out in May the quintet are an extremely well honed live band, all the crisp guitar licks and bouncy pop hooks are delivered with great aplomb as “The Bomb”, “Ice Cream” and an outstanding “Jerk Me” give fresh energy to tired legs and make the whole tent dance their arses off.
